For the very sporting Linz visitors, we offer a run of the extra class - the ascent to the local mountain of the city, the Pöstlingberg. Along the Danube, running
through Urfahr and finally on the Way of the Cross to climb the 539m high Pöstlingberg. Arriving at the destination, not only the imposing pilgrimage basilica awaits, but also a mighty view of
Linz. Especially at sunrise or sunset it offers an unforgettable view of the entire city.
The run is only for experienced runners with mountain experience, gradients of sometimes 17% are to overcome.
Depending of the starting point, the route is about 10km long. The run takes about 1.5hours.
